Much reading today. The sentence or concept that can be found most frequently, is: Trump’s Presidency is over! He is now nicely surrounded by neocons who scream for war and his base is clearly fractured.
Iran is shooting small salvos, 3 or 5 missiles and the Israelis remain in their shelters. We will see tonight.
What is now called David’s boomerang, Israeli interceptors even at this very low rate are malfunctioning.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
This is such a good reminder:
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Trump’s security council meeting today lasted an hour. The media is speculating that his advisors are not in agreement on strikes against Iran. Mostly speculation. It was said that he was going to make a speech but nothing yet.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Putin will hold a telephone conversation with Xi Jinping this week, Ushakov said. During the conversation, attention will be paid to the current situation in the Middle East.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Shoigu’s visit to Kim Jong-Un (the part that we know about)
The DPRK will send 1,000 military sappers to clear mines in Russia’s Kursk region, with 5,000 military construction workers to follow for reconstruction. Moscow and Pyongyang are finalizing the logistics. This is direct, tangible support from North Korea, praised as “brotherly help” by Russian Security Council officials. A monument will honor the contribution of North Korean personnel, a move supported by President Putin. The work will start with sappers, then transition to massive rebuilding, ensuring safe and rapid regional recovery.

I am sorry Americans. For those that still hoped that Tulsi Gabbard would be a moderating influence on Trump, give it up.
Iran ‘very close’ to nuclear weapons — Trump, per CBS
When asked about DNI Tulsi Gabbard’s earlier statement contradicting this, Trump replied: ‘I don’t care what she said — I think they were very close to having them’
In March, DNI Gabbard said in a statement that, according to the US intelligence community, ‘Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003’

Key statements of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov:
🔹️Russia is grateful to Azerbaijan for creating favorable conditions for the evacuation of Russians from Iran;
🔹️Moscow has seen and heard statements by US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Iran;
🔹️Russia calls on Iran and Israel to exercise maximum restraint in order to switch to a peaceful political and diplomatic settlement later;
🔹️The situation in the Middle East is alarming and is currently on the path of further escalation;
🔹️Russia now sees at least Israel’s unwillingness of starting a peaceful settlement of the conflict with Iran and seeks mediation in this;
🔹️In the coming days, an understanding will be reached on the possible timing of the continuation of work in the Ukrainian direction;
🔹️There is no understanding yet about the next round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine;
🔹️The G7 has lost its practical value and looks rather useless;
🔹️Moscow agrees with Trump’s words that Russia’s exclusion from the G8 was a mistake.

Russian military strikes Ukraine’s defense industry – MOD
The attacks targeted facilities in Kiev and a part of Ukraine-controlled Zaporozhye Region, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.
In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said that the group strike involving high-precision air-, land-, and sea-based weapons, as well as drones, targeted military-industrial facilities in Kiev Region and the Ukrainian-controlled part of Zaporozhye Region.
“The goal of the strikes has been accomplished. All designated targets have been hit,” officials said.

This is BIG news: North Korean President Kim Jong Un: If Israel continues, we will enter an official war with it with the support of Iran. ”
And this is a BIG lie: Trump said Iran is now seeking talks to de-escalate with Israel.

Washington cancels Russia-US meeting on eliminating irritants — Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW, June 16. /TASS/. A planned meeting between Russia and the United States aimed at resolving ongoing diplomatic tensions has been canceled at Washington’s initiative, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
“The next round of bilateral consultations focused on eliminating ‘irritants’ and normalizing the functioning of diplomatic missions has been canceled at the initiative of the US side,” Zakharova stated. “We hope the pause they have taken will not last too long,” she added.
On February 27 and April 10, two rounds of negotiations took place in Istanbul, focusing on restoring the functionality of the Russian and US embassies and addressing various bilateral concerns. During these consultations, Darchiev led the Russian delegation, while Sonata Coulter, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, headed the US team.
(When will Russian understand that this was only a big gaslighting? or are they only doing the diplomatic niceties?)

Iran officially suspends cooperation with the IAEA, cutting off access to nuclear sites, data, inspections, and notifications. (I’ve seen different accounts, so keep this on the watchlist until we have a formal statement.

Iran coverage is continued in our War and Genocide thread: https://sovereignista.com/2025/06/10/the-war-genocide-thread-3/, with further details in the Apocalypse thread at the Hearty Salon.
Currently and I stress currently, Israel does not have air superiority over Iran, as they proclaim. They have superiority in smaller terrorist attacks through prepositioned small terror squads. Iran however is sweeping this up with no emotion. Israel is not accustomed to fighting an enemy that shoots back. Emotionally the Israelis are in deep travail and there is no rest between running to shelters and trying to live while Iran decimates living areas. There will be damage. At present Israel (even in their local channels) are begging the US to step in. The US is sending at the last count over two dozen additional refueling tankers to the war zone.
Israel and the US have no winning move to make. (I again stress, currently!) They had a Plan A, a shock and awe rerun. It fell apart. It is going to be hard for Iran, but harder for the US and Israel. The strike from Israel on Iran is already being referred to as a strike on China. Will we see Chinese warplanes in Iran? I do not want to frontrun anything but this has all that is needed for a World War.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Key Points from Dmitry Peskov’s Statements:
➡️Russia remains ready to act as a mediator if needed in resolving the Iran–Israel conflict.
➡️Moscow’s offer to store Iranian uranium in Russia “is still on the table,” but the outbreak of hostilities has complicated matters.
➡️The Kremlin notes a strong consolidation of Iranian society in response to Israeli bombings.
➡️Russia is prepared to do whatever is necessary to address the root causes of the crisis in the Middle East.
➡️Moscow is in contact with both Iran and Israel and urges all sides to avoid actions that could endanger Russian citizens.
➡️Russia condemns provocations that have led to the dangerous escalation in the region.
➡️The Kremlin has taken note of Netanyahu’s statement suggesting Israeli attacks could lead to regime change in Iran.
➡️Russia–China cooperation is not aimed against any third countries.
➡️Moscow has no concerns about China’s engagement in Central Asia undermining its own ties with the region.
➡️Central Asian countries are natural and historic allies of Russia.
➡️Putin will hold an international phone call on June 16.

Russia is continuing apace in its SMO. Last night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massed high-precision strike by long-range air- and sea-based weapons and strike unmanned aerial vehicles at an oil refinery in Kremenchug (Poltava region), which supplies fuel to the AFU detachments in Donbas.
✅The goal of the strikes has been achieved, the target has been engaged.

Representatives from more than 100 countries have confirmed their participation in the forum. This is 5% more than at the 2024 forum.
The main theme is “Common values – the foundation for growth in a multipolar world.”
The business programme includes sessions on five key tracks: “The global economy: new platforms for global growth”, “The Russian economy: a new quality of growth”, “People in a new world”, “The environment for life”, and “Technology: striving for leadership”.

Something that fell by the wayside with the war that started in the past few days. There was a trade/tariff negotiation between the US and China.
Andy Boreham 安柏然 reported at the time: US / China London talks.
As usual, Trump’s take on the meeting was off.
Today, MOFCOM Spokesperson He Yadong said simply:
-China reviews export license applications for rare earth-related items in accordance with laws and regulations;
-China has already approved a certain number of compliant applications, and will continue to strengthen the approval process for compliant applications.
Seemingly a game of Chinese Whispers has had Trump seeing a completely different reality but then we were reminded in the past few days of how he spins. At the time of the talks, he was talking about ‘full magnets’ and all kinds of blathering. The Chinese media (at the time, not extensively) speculated that those ‘compliant’ applications were solely for non-military and non-duel purposes, and that is why they capped it at six months before review.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Time to count Iran’s friends. There are not many in the region, although Oman is somehow saying the right things. We don’t have a crystal ball to look into their hearts though. But here is a friend: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a call with the Irani President Masoud Pezeshkian and ensured him of Pakistan’s unwavering support to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Every single media right across the world is still giving the Israel / Iran war above the fold attention. SCO published a commentary which is unprecedented for them to involve themselves in a subject like this.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), has sharply criticised Israel’s military offensive on Iran, raising alarm over the growing instability in the Middle East. In a statement issued by the group, the SCO said Israeli air raids targeted civilian and nuclear infrastructure, resulting in civilian casualties.
“This seriously violated the principles of international law and the U.N. Charter, undermined Iran’s sovereignty, undermined regional and international security, and had a serious impact on global peace and stability,” the SCO warned.
The group said it “strongly condemns” the strikes and called for restraint to prevent further escalation.
India disassociated itself calling on their independent stance. NEW DELHI: India on Saturday distanced itself from a statement issued by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) condemning recent Israeli strikes on Iran, clarifying that it did not participate in the discussions that led to the group’s remarks. In a statement, the ministry of external affairs (MEA) said, “The Shanghai Cooperation Organization has issued a statement on recent developments between Israel and Iran. India did not participate in the discussions on the above-mentioned SCO statement.” (How they hide it as if they were not there! They were there, but were not brave enough to say anything!)

The world is focusing on Israel / Iran. I feel myself constrained to start posting the submissions that I have for today. Let some hours go by and hopefully later in the day we can again focus on the rest of us. Bear in mind that we were supposed to be discussing, building, helping, birthing and supporting a move to a healthier multipolar world. Now we are engaged in fighting off empire who is becoming more insane and loathsome by the minute. They can never be trusted.

Israel has declared a nationwide state of emergency

Continuous explosions in Tehran.
Various sources reporting: Israel is officially attacking Iran
15 interceptions in Tehran, about 3 impacts so far. Sputnik reports air defense is active. More strikes are reported elsewhere
Israel closes its entire airspace to civilian air traffic
Iranian airspace closed, planes are being diverted

Israeli Army Radio, citing a military source:
- Israel carried out its operation in a neighborhood where senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard commanders reside.
- This is Operation Lion Force, targeting Iran’s nuclear program and long-range missiles. Dozens of military targets across Iran have been hit as a first strike.
Israel’s Defense Minister announced that the country has carried out a preemptive strike against Iran and warned that a retaliatory response from Tehran is likely in the near future.
Jerusalem Post, citing Israeli officials: We have detected that Iran is on the verge of achieving a nuclear breakthrough within a few days. (Yeah, remember weapons of mass destruction.)
Israeli Channel 12: The strikes in Iran were carried out in coordination with the United States.

In the War and Genocide thread a piece is posted on elections in Israel to dissolve the Knesset. The heads of the opposition factions decided to put the Knesset Dissolution Law to a vote in the Knesset plenum today. The objective is to overthrow the government.
It is not as if anyone is truly anti killing Palestinians, it is that Bibi Netanyahu is overstaying his welcome with pressures from all sides. If this vote goes through today, Israel will be in a position of having no goverment during the Iran negotiations and of course during their war on the Palestinians. https://English.almanar.com.lb/2430045.
This is what is happening: US AMBASSADOR MEDDLING IN ISRAELI POLITICS TO SAVE NETANYAHU
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is on the brink of collapse, with ultra-Orthodox parties threatening to trigger new elections over the military draft crisis.
Israel’s Supreme Court ordered Haredi conscription, ending decades of exemption for religious scholars. If ultra-Orthodox lawmakers defect, new elections are guaranteed – and polls show Bibi would lose
🇺🇸US SHADOW LOBBYING:
US Ambassador Mike Huckabee is personally pressuring Haredi leaders to stand down, arguing:
🔴 “Government stability is key for confronting Iran”
🔴 “Washington can’t support Israel during elections” (Veiled threat?)
🔴 Netanyahu reportedly approved the interference
Opposition leader Yair Lapid slammed the interference, insisting “Israel is not a protectorate.”
But with Netanyahu’s fate hanging on 18 ultra-Orthodox votes—and polls showing he’d lose a new election—the US appears to be making its preference clear: Bibi at all costs.

Major Pressure on the Alliance of Sahel States (a clip from RT): Burkina Faso’s interim president, Captain Ibrahim Traore has accused foreign powers of attempting to sabotage the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) by pressuring member countries to betray the others.
Speaking during a national flag-raising ceremony on Monday, the leader claimed the AES remains a “source of concern” for imperialist actors, the Burkina Faso Information Agency reported.
“We are approached every day by imperialists who want to force one of the three states to betray the others,” Traore said.
“We’ve been dealing with this for a long time. Each time, it’s a maneuver to convince a state to leave the Confederation. And this should make us think,” he added.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
They are telling one another fairy stories:
Senator Mitch McConnell who is older than history itself: We don’t want the headlines at the end of this conflict to say, ‘Russia won and America lost.’ In terms of the money we spend, what is the return on investment in our security assistance to Ukraine?
Pete Hegseth: Senator, I just want to say that with President Trump’s approach, this is definitely not the right headline. We are in a situation now where Vladimir Putin knows that President Trump is strong, he knows that his word means something. As a result, a peaceful resolution in Ukraine makes America strong, shows that we understand the situation in the world and what we want to focus on – even if we understand that Russia is the aggressor, and we support the efforts of the Ukrainians. There comes a time when you have to face the reality on the battlefield and understand that the best solution is a negotiated settlement to stop the killing and the slaughter. And our budget reflects that.
I’m lame with laughter at these clowns – best circus in town!. Poor cats! What does the Pentagon want to do that for? (No, this is not one of those things that have the portential to change the world or perhaps it does.)
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Like I said, lipstick on a pig. When we get to ‘frameworks to implement consensus’ there is no consensus.
LONDON, June 10 (Xinhua) — China and the United States have over the past two days conducted professional, rational, in-depth and candid exchanges, said a senior Chinese official on Tuesday. Li Chenggang, China international trade representative with the Ministry of Commerce and vice minister of commerce, made the remarks when briefing the press following the first meeting of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism held in London. The two sides have agreed in principle the framework for implementing consensus between the two heads of state during their phone talks on June 5, as well as those reached at Geneva talks, Li said.
It is hoped that progress made at the London meeting will be conducive to strengthening trust between China and the United States, and to further promoting the steady and healthy development of economic and trade ties between the two countries, he said, adding that the meeting also adds positive energy to global economic growth.
The tariff truce is still in effect.

Top Shelf Trolling going on:
🔹China: China acknowledges the “One America” position. Nevertheless, China will provide weapons to California for self-defense.
🔹NEWSFLASH: “It is important to understand that by supplying weapons to People’s Republic of California, Russia does not become a party to the conflict,” Nebenzya

Wang Wen: “Countering U.S. Hegemony Remains a Priority”
There are three main areas of conflict: 1)Broad and across the world: economic piracy, 2)Proxy Ukraine, a reason for a wider war, 3)the livestreamed genocide, and industrial-scale killing of Palestinians in the occupied territories in a naked attempt to make Israel the regional leader (Syria, Lebanon, Iran). Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries also tender strongly for this regional leader position. This tinderbox has a significant potential to explode very soon. The wars in Africa will be dealt with by the Africans. Traoré stands head and shoulders as the new African Leader and is developing a near-complete following across the continent with a new message. I trust that in Africa, more Traorés will stand up.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike by high-precision weapons and strike drones at the Ukrainian aviation, missile, armoured and shipbuilding industry enterprises in Kiev, command and control posts and locations of the AFU, clusters of weapons and military hardware of the Ukrainian formations as well as infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition and fuel depots.
✅ The goal of the strike was achieved. All the assigned targets were engaged.
Russia appears to be focusing on completing tasks to ultimately achieve its original objectives for the SMO (Special Military Operation), having shifted its methodology and strategy to CTO (Counter-Terrorism Operation). We are watching the Russian endgame.
In the background, Russia continues to do business. St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEFF) is starting on June 18–21. If you take a scroll through the Roscongress site, you may be amazed at the international conversations conducive to business taking place.
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Iran, through espionage, gathered a significant package of information on Israel’s nuclear facilities and connivance with the Axis of Evil. The Iranian commentary over just the past day shows that it feels it is in a leading position. Time will tell, but this is also a tinderbox. The US and Israel may now decide to attack in order to attempt to neutralize what indeed is a considerable threat to Israel’s attempt to control the region, with valid rumors of nukes: Erez Israel. If we assume Iran’s information is as explosive as what the leaders indicate, an attack now will be the death of Israel. The US will likely employ plausible deniability in some way or another, as its military capabilities are waning. Iran announced that some of the information will be made public, and other parts will be shared with friendly partners. Up to now, I felt that there would not be an attack on Iran, yet now the situation has turned binary: it is do or die for the empire. They could stretch out ‘negotiations’ for ever and a day, but it would be a visible game of playing circus.
🔹🔹🔹🔹

It looks like Trump does not know. Someone, please brief Trump before he wants to shoot:
Trump: Iran is behaving completely differently than it was a few days ago.
Dear Mr Trump, Iran picked up a pack of cards. Reportedly, they are all Aces of Spades.
In addition, Russia is planning to build 8 nuclear plants in Iran: atomic chief. https://english.news.cn/20250610/5d00dbe4a5a14193a11be1c82f8c495a/c.html

US-China trade talks to resume for a second day
Top US and Chinese officials will resume trade talks for a second day in London on Tuesday, hoping to secure a breakthrough over export controls for goods such as rare earths that have threatened a global supply chain shock and slower economic growth.
The talks come at a crucial time for both economies, with customs data showing that China’s exports to the US plunged 34.5% in May, the sharpest drop since February 2020, when the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic upended global trade.
The two sides met at the ornate Lancaster House in the British capital on Monday to discuss disagreements around the previously made deal, and are due to resume talks early on Tuesday before both sides are expected to issue updates.
I expect that this will be either putting lipstick on a pig or putting a sticky plaster on a heart attack. We will see. Both sides will try to look good, but China is not working for itself only. It is working for the world. These negotiations will depend on how much China decides to help the US. Please take a look at the quote from Wang Wen one more time: “Countering U.S. Hegemony Remains a Priority”
🔹🔹🔹🔹
Totally besides the serious topics here, but still serious. A note just in from Thorston Pattberg from his Substack. I’ve long suspected that Substack will do what others of this ilk do. They make it very easy to join and accept payment for work. Once they feel solid, they hammer down. Thorston says, “They erased the Substack. We have to start over. Effing tyrants!” I’ve not checked what his lament means in reality, as Thorston tends to hyperbole. Overall, the notes on the internet are that the resistance of whatever kind is being seriously suppressed. In terms of information sharing, the more Russia moves to its own platforms, the more difficult it becomes to share information easily, as the sharing mechanisms are not yet well-developed. It is possible, but it takes time. The same is true of China. What is a good thing is that the Israeli Hasbarra is so under threat and busy now with attacking high flyers, that for the moment, we are quiet on that sector.

Increasing US Riots: Would commentators kindly comment, as I am not following the details? I see four discussion points. 1)The first is the ongoing move to US totalitarianism, 2)Soros is being invoked as the ghost in the machine, 3)Trump is doing it himself for (supply the reason – there are many), 4)it is a party-political issue. What seems to be real is that the Marines have been called in (Demonstrations or riots in Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, New York City, Tampa, and reports of anti-ICE demonstrations in Seattle, Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Orleans, and other cities).
Question: Are we seeing an attempted coup at the core?
